Johnny Domino encounters a woman he had noticed previously who asks him to play at a charity event. The woman, Rita Diamond, tells him how the event is being held in her fiance's estate. Johnny arrives and plays his jazz when suddenly there's a power outage and the ballroom becomes very dark. Due to his abilities, Johnny Domino is able to see things in the room when a mysterious-garbed man comes in kidnap woman in the darkness. Johnny tries to stop him but is unable to without revealing who he is. He leaves to dress as Night Man and comes back to find secret passages in the building. He finally comes across someone called Rhiannon, the person kidnapping the women, and is revealed to be Rita Diamond. Night Man has to allow Rhiannon escape so he can save the kidnapped woman.
